I was fully expecting Meryl Streep to do some woke talk about whatever... but she ended up saying things that I've said myself... emphasis on how women in Muslim society had way more rights in the 70's and before than they do now in places like Iran, Afghanistan, etc. With the fall of the Shah and the uprising of religious zealotry - things fell apart for women.
