Arrowheads found at the Thermopylae battle site. These arrowheads date from the 5th and 6th centuries and were found on Kolonos Hill where the last Greek warriors died fighting against the Persians. These arrowheads are of the Asian type from various region under the Achaemenid Persian empire. They also match the style of those found at Marathon, where the Greek coalition under Miltiades defeated the Persians in 490 BC.
