Keeping a yard looking crisp and sharp starts with clean flowerbed edges. In the past, I've made a few videos on wedding my flowerbeds and the same principle applies to trees! This is what I do: - Start by making a clean cut with a half-moon foot edger around the perimeter of the tree, about 3 ft from the trunk - Remove the cut sod, leaving a 4-inch trench exposed, which helps to harden off any grassroots from growing into the tree - Add non-treated mulch, leaving the root flare of the tree expo
