The way these people talk about Singapore as if it’s some huge multiethnic empire, rather than a tiny city-state that was primed to succeed as a tiny entrepôt in an increasingly globalised economy. 🤣As an accomplishment you can’t compare it to China, or 5 year plans in USSR.
