From the stages of Renaissance Europe to canvases by Picasso, the Harlequin has been a muse for artists and audiences alike for centuries! That’s right, he first made his appearance in the 1200s in European theater. You’ll now see him in ballets such as Swan Lake, Pretroushka, Harlequinade and of course The Nutcracker where he comes to life as one of the magic dancing dolls in act 1. Would you like to see him on stage or maybe even perform with him? NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet is coming
