Despite the near-zero temperatures and snow flurries, hundreds of protesters took to the streets to rally against recent ICE tactics in Kansas City in multiple events around the city today. The protests joined a slew of nationwide rallies and a general strike with a goal of creating an economic blackout. Several Kansas City businesses cut their hours, and some closed Friday, to show solidarity. “Don’t let them tell you that this isn’t significant,” said Mitch Schiller, an organizer with the Part
