Memories of the Town Hall – Brian Baker Born in the Old York Hospital, Brian Baker grew up in a rather unique home, the York Town Hall. With his father as the caretaker, Brian spent his childhood there in the 1930s and 40s, surrounded by the bustle of community life and the events that brought York together.
