🇬🇮ADX: EX CRYING EMU🇬🇮 This August, EMUOTC deployed on their annual training exercise (ADX) to Gibraltar. Utilising the large tunnel system in Gibraltar (some large enough to house a fire engine! 🚒), OCdts began learning the basics of subterranean warfare, before deploying into Buffadero Training Area. Here, OCdts spent five days honing in their urban warfare skills such as building clearances, casualty drills and evacuation as well as platoon attacks in both field and urban environments. �

Ex Brief Encounter is a fantastic inter OTC competition, organised by the Royal Artillery to give OCdts an experience of what life is like in the Royal Artillery. OCdts took part in a variety of activities including introductions to the variety of equipment used by the Royal Artillery, a gun run, log race, and an assault course run by the 29 Commando RA, all of this was followed by dinner and drinks in the RA mess. #SheffieldUOTC's team won the weekend overall and were presented with the King Ge
