The Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers finally made the worst-kept secret in football an official matter of business this offseason when the veteran quarterback signed with the team. Pittsburgh had one of the more questionable quarterback situations in the AFC before the deal that now provides at least some temporary stability.
Also on offense within the Ramsey trade was tight end Jonnu Smith, who had a productive season with the Miami Dolphins, but Walder once again overrated the acquisition. As for Ramsey himself, Walder critiques the deal, saying that Pittsburgh takes on the cornerback’s hefty contract while giving up a “high-end safety” in Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Zach Frazier did not even crack the honorable mention list. He was in the ‘others receiving votes’ section list, however.
