SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — A home belonging to Arizona Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte was burglarized during the Major League Baseball All-Star break, according to police.
An incident at a baseball game in Chicago last month between the Diamondbacks and the White Sox got the attention of the sports world — and not in a good way.
Incidentally, Marte will get to play alongside Machado, the starter at third base, for the National League in the All-Star game. Fernando Tatis Jr. also earned an All-Star selection as an outfielder, but is on the reserves.
