The driver of a small snow plow has died after the vehicle was struck by a Metra Milwaukee District West train near the Bartlett station Monday morning.

A 64-year-old Village of Bartlett Public Works employee was killed after being struck by a Metra train while operating a snow plow in Bartlett, Illinois.

The crash happened before 9:30 a.m. Monday when an outbound MD-W train hit the small snowplow near the Bartlett station, 120 E. Railroad Ave., Metra officials said. The plow driver died at a hospital.
