Pakistan and Afghanistan have been holding peace talks in Istanbul, Turkey, as a tenuous ceasefire holds following cross-border clashes that left dozens of people dead and hundreds wounded.

“Certain elements within Pakistan’s military and intelligence services are deliberately sabotaging the ongoing peace process,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.
