While the Massachusetts State Lottery already began legwork to launch the state’s first-ever online lottery platform, it won’t be quite as soon as state and lottery officials previously thought.

Bay Staters may be able to buy Lottery products from their phones or computers starting in April 2026, the director of the Massachusetts Lottery said — about five months later than originally planned.
