ANGLETON, Texas (AP) — A Texas mother who shot her four children over the weekend, killing two of them, faces murder charges, authorities said Sunday.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for help finding those responsible for several vehicle burglaries that occurred between Wednesday and Thursday. The sheriff’s office said the burglaries occurred in the area of County Road 1630 and County Road 1635 near Crockett.

Gov. Abbott said the task force will swarm some Houston neighborhoods with Texas Rangers, DPS troopers, DPS special agents, DPS aircraft and more.
