Georgia is expected to be a key swing state in the race for president between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

After making it through fake bomb threats, packed lines, and some mail ballot issues to cast our votes around metro Atlanta, it’s now time for counties to certify their results.Tuesday is the deadline for Georgia’s 159 counties to certify their votes.

Battleground states are counting the ballots that will decide the next US president into the early hours of Wednesday morning, after Election Day voting that largely went smoothly despite fake bomb threats that targeted multiple states.

Connecticut counts ballots cast by armed forces members who have died prior to Election Day. The state will also count in-person early votes cast by people who die prior to Election Day, but it will not count mail-in votes cast by people who die prior to Election Day, according to CT Insider.
