Denny’s area and restaurant managers had been planning for the big day for the past two weeks, preparing to make and serve 100 Grand Slams per hour.

Here’s the lowdown: On Wednesday, April 8, from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. the chain will give diners a free Grand Slamwich. Just bring a friend to Denny’s during that time frame, and order a Grand Slam.
