Elizondo and Marshall’s history of sharing sets stems back to their serendipitous meeting. Of all places, they met for the first time by chance on a basketball court back in 1979.

For 34 years, Elizondo appeared in Marshall’s films, including The Princess Diaries and Pretty Woman. The two were so close that Marshall wanted Elizondo to succeed and be part of all his films.
