A former champion made her return to AEW during a brawl between Thekla and Queen Aminata at AEW Forbidden Door.

After more than a year away, former TNT Champion Wardlow has finally returned to AEW, making a surprise appearance at Sunday’s Forbidden Door.

The semi-main event of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door featured the AEW World Championship match between MJF and the champion Hangman Adam Page. Per the stipulations, the title could change hands by countout or disqualification.
