Cooper Flagg may not have been happy with his professional debut in the NBA Summer League, but he still drew some rave reviews afterward.
According to a recent report from NBA Insider Tim MacMahon of ESPN, the Mavericks are expected to get a deal finalized with P.J. Washington, a big forward who can knock down shots. He later added that while a deal should be extended over the next month, Washington will likely sign something that will be very tradeable.
The deal keeps the Mavericks’ vaunted frontcourt trio of Gafford, Dereck Lively II and Anthony Davis together for the foreseeable future.
